Featherlead Productions presents the world premiere of a new play, The Breeze At Dawn, written by Lalé Shafaghi. Set in Tehran, Iran 2001, The Breeze At Dawn tells the tale of two women living in a world of shackled dreams and stifled passion. Directed by Elisabeth Millican, the play features original music composed and performed live by Jason Ditzian and Faraz Minooei. Actors include Ali Mohamed El-Gassier, Baruch Porras-Hernandez, Claudia Rosa, Natalia Rose Miner. Set design by John Mayne, Lighting design by Allen Willner, Costume design by Lalé Shafaghi and Prop design by Claire Mack. This production is supported in part by grants from the San Francisco Arts Commission, Theatre Bay Area CA$H Grants, Zellerbach Family Foundation, and Meet the Composer.
